1- How do I redeem my voucher?
Just ring us on 0131 556 4882 to book in for your experience. Please have your voucher number ready (printed on the top right of the voucher). Go here for more information.
2- How many songs can I do?
There is no limit to the amount of songs you can record but we usually find that to make a good recording, it can take around one hour to record a song to a high standard.
After recording a few takes and then editing together the best parts from each take into a composite track, the song then needs to be mixed before your CDs are printed and copied at the end of the session.
We suggest that you choose one song per hour as priority tracks and back up song(s) in mind if things go quickly.
3- I’m not a trained singer or musician..is that a problem?
Not at all, all you have to do is enjoy music. We will help to make the recording go smoothly and ensure that it’s a good experience for you.
4- Can I bring other people along to my session?
Every voucher includes two participants to take part. The maximum that can take part is currently eight people due to Covid 19 restrictions.
You can bring three extra people along to watch for no charge if you are performing solo. However, we don’t recommend putting yourself under too much pressure by inviting too many people along.
5- Can I play an instrument in my session?
Yes that’s not a problem and we have a selection of instruments on hand. It can take a bit longer to make a recording with instruments as opposed to singing to a backing track.
6- Can I pass on the voucher to someone else if I don’t want it?
Yes as long as you let us know and they they quote the number on the voucher, anyone can use it.
7- Can I buy extra time?
Yes, if no one is booked in after you, it is possible to extend your session for an extra £75 per hour. Or if you let us know at time of booking we will be able to arrange for an extension to your session.
8- How long is the voucher valid for?
You can redeem your voucher within 12 months from date of purchase
