This amazing and very beautiful bar goes right to the top of my list. As you enter you can’t help but notice the care and attention that has gone into the entrance as you walk down a small flight of steps into a very unusual floral painted entrance, which takes you into the bar area. You can’t help but notice the care and love that has gone into the decoration and the ambience, once you get there you really will not want to leave, the beautiful flower design on the floor to the comfy seating is a feast for the eyes, and I haven’t even tried the cocktails yet.
The owner of this establishment was so very warm and friendly and he told me it had only been open a month so this definitely is one of Edinburgh’s hidden gems. Unfortunately if you are a Hen Party that likes to dress up you will not get entry so in this case you would be better to stuff your outfits in your handbags than not go.
The cocktails were as spectacular as the decor and okay on price, with a fairly extensive menu to choose from. So if your looking for that really fun bar to hang out in for an evening or a special occasion this undoubtably has the wow factor.
The menu looked really lovely and you could even order a lovely fresh juice to start your day with which would get you buzzing all day, which is an amazing exciting and refreshing new concept in an Edinburgh bar. This is definitely going to be a really popular place to hang out in for a special breakfast, lunch, dinner or a night of fun on cocktails. They open early for 8pm to 11am so if you like the place you have plenty of options to go back.

Looking for an ideal central cocktail bar on George street for your Hen Party then why not try out Le Monde it’s a comfy atmosphere with cosy couch like seats that you don’t really want to
move from once seated, and it’s a great place to start of your night if you don’t really know where to go and your in that area of town. The cocktails are definitely worth sampling and will start
your Hen Party with the right kick.
Had a cocktail to die for called “Good Night Kiss”a sweet sexy mix of strawberry liqueur and amaretto topped with Moët Chandon champagne £9. 95 each but
well worth the cost. They also do a cocktail making class for Hen Party’s if your party are stuck for something to do.

This establishment doesn’t look much from the outside and is a bar for a smallish group of hen/stags up to 10 hens max as its quality not quantity and really only for the low key hen
party’s
( hens who like dressing up will not get entry) its a great lunch and cocktail bar, and even good for an evening meal but would need to book in advance, it’s well worth the visit if your
looking for something sophisticated and moody, a rather charming exclusive establishment in the centre of town with a good location and full of atmosphere .The bar staff are very friendly and they
know how to make a mean cocktail.
I tried a classic champagne cocktail with remy Martin brandy, angostura bitters, brown sugar and champagne made by head barman Adam It was really rather special and not watered down with
loads of ice, what you call a “real cocktail” served by a sparky young girl who called herself the little robot. I would definitely recommend this establishment for a classy cocktail for that special
occasion, again another hidden gem. Website
DRAGONFLY

This award winning cocktail bar is really funky and has been established for the last five years, open from 4pm to 1pm seven days a week. Although it is not big inside but there is plenty space
for a Hen Party as they have an open planned upstairs mezzanine floor that can be hired exclusively for your special Party , they know there cocktails as there is an extensive menu to pick from as
cocktails are there speciality made by staff that know their mixology so you get the real thing at fair prices. You can also order an “awesome” pizza of your choice which is delivered
specially to your table which helps to soak up the alcohol.
This bar is easy to get to, based on the far side of the Grassmarket but don’t get distracted by the many other bars and hotels on route as Dragonfly is definitely worth a visit to get
your party started.

FRANKENSTEIN BAR

This bar is perfect place for a Hen/ stag Party as its one of the few bars in Edinburgh that don’t mind Hens/ stags modestly dressing up as long as they are not to inebriated on arrival. It is a themed bar as the name suggest and is very ornately done out inside, in gothic horror style with wacky lighting and a very large model of Frankenstein himself in one corner of the bar with even a Frankenstein menu. The bar was converted from an old church and has plenty seating and nooks and crannies to hide in. There is an upper level of a balcony area to hang out in with more seating and tables which over looks the downstairs bar area, so is a fun place for an evening hang out as there area large range of cocktails and drinks to choose from as well as food.
It has three levels and three different bars and they are just about to open there new basement “Bier Keller” with a German theme of lots of beers, so if you haven’t been there before you will have plenty to check out, It has a fairly extensive menu of meat and fish dishes and even some vegetarian options so would suit all tastes. So if your looking for something a bit different and don’t want to wander in and out of lots of bars this would suit a Hen/ stag party for your nights entertainment.
