Marj’s Edinburgh Hen Party Pop Video

Bride to be Marj and her pals came all the way to Edinburgh’s Royal Mile Recording Experiences from the Isle of Harris for a special Hen Party Pop Video experience recently.

You can imagine our surprise when they turned up to make the pop video painted blue and dressed as Smurfs. We thought we had seen it all… wrong!!!

We immediately launched into recording the video and the girls were well up for it. First we recorded the vocals for the chorus’s and shot the video at the same time so in the film there is no miming at this point, which was impressive as the vocals were great despite the antics.

After that Marj recorded her verses parts and then we staged her in various studio locations singing along to her vocal parts.

At the end of the session the girls capped off the session with a rendition of a Runrig song entitled Hearts Of Olden Glory. The organiser of the event Doleen sadly couldn’t make the experience due to a family beraeveent but she wrote in later to say “Marj and The Maniacs had a FANTASTIC time at the Royal Mile Recording studio!!  Would highly recommend this experience for any group looking to have lots of fun!!!  Thank you both soooo much!!! The hen will never forget her hen do!!!! 🙂
